The Douglas County Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) offers a scholarship to undergraduate and graduate students each year. The scholarship may be used for tuition, books, or childcare while attending school.

AAUW promotes equity for women and girls, lifelong education and positive societal change.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS:

    • Resident of Douglas County, Colorado
    • If over the age of 25, currently attending an accredited institution of higher education (four-year college, junior college or vocational institution)
    • If under the age of 25, completed two years and currently attending an accredited Colorado institution of higher education (four-year college, junior college or vocational institution)
    • Maintains a 3.0 average or better in academic work
