Higher Education Scholarship

Residents of Douglas County, CO

The Douglas County Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) offers a scholarship to undergraduate and graduate students each year. The scholarship may be used for tuition, books, or childcare while attending school. AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS:

- Resident of Douglas County, Colorado
- If over the age of 25, currently attending an accredited institution of higher education (four-year college, junior college or vocational institution)
- If under the age of 25, completed two years and currently attending an accredited Colorado institution of higher education (four-year college, junior college or vocational institution)
- Maintains a 3.0 average or better in academic work

Finalists and winners will be announced by September 15, 2021, after verification of the applicant’s enrollment for the 2021-22 school year.
